Iyengar Yoga Retreat in Malaga 14th-20th July 2024, six days in the stunning Santillan retreat centre in the hills above Malaga.
With two yoga classes a day and delicious homegrown food this retreat will be the perfect escape and respite from busy life.

Retreat Information
Dates July 14th-20th 2024, 6 night, arriving Sunday 14th, till Saturday 20th at the beautiful Santillian retreat centre in the hills outside Malaga.
Flights should be available from Newquay, and the venue can help us sort reasonable transfers from the airport ( with 5 of us sharing this year I think we paid 10 euros each for the 30 min transfer )
There are 20 rooms available, all lovely with balconies and en-suites some with four posters, most with air conditioning I can refer anyone to the website if you want a better look but I’m certain you won’t be disappointed with the venue or food . It is also possible to have three in a room together if desired.
3 meals a day I’m going to request a Mediterranean menu, but they do amazing vegan and vegetarian and gluten free options if we request it ( the food was epic!) they source and grow a lot themselves.
Yoga will be twice a day early and late to accommodate eating and the temperature and also leaving daytime free for anyone who wants to venture out exploring, although the pool and garden areas are very appealing during the day. 7.30-10am and them 5-7pm for yoga ( don’t be put off at the length of the class it will be a slower pace and taught according to ability of the class)
It will be a first come first served basis as the space is limited, I’ll be asking for £100 deposit to secure a place, then the remaining balance can be spread throughout the year or paid closer to the time according to what works better for you.

Additional Information
This for the 6 nights with full board, there is fruit available all day and drinks (alcohol available via an honesty payment, local wine and beers etc) there won’t be much else to pay for other than flights and transfer and any other activities you might want to squeeze in.
I’ve kept it as reasonable as I can and not charging much for the yoga but it will be a great opportunity for anyone who wants to immerse themselves deeper in the practice and have a reset from daily life.
